About

Just returned from two years of teaching English in the beautiful country of Thailand.  I’m purusing my Masters of Divinity through Asbury Theological Seminary.  This blog is mainly a way for me to “solidify” things I read and think about by writing it down.

Hey–you asked me about blog hints as you get used to putting cool stuff in your sidebars and pictures/videos in the posts… Rather than write it all out (which would take forever and be unnecessarily wordy), here’s a couple starting points:

    http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/07/16/how-do-i-link-to-other-pictures/
(I usually do a google image search for relevant images, and then use these instructions to embed it in the post.)

    http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/12/24/what-is-a-widget/
(about sidebar widgets–like my calendar, etc.)

You’re doing great–really, the words are what it is all about… if you keep that up, they’ll come! 🙂 I’ll keep checking in to see what’s going on…

Hey Jonathan! I was given your name by the Nunally’s. I am writing a book on young people, about your age, impacting the world for Christ. Would you be willing to be interviewed for this book? I see you are very articulate so I think a written interview might work if that is good for you. I can tell you quite a bit more if you can provide me with an email address where I can send a book summary and such.

I look forward to hearing from you!

P.S. I am going to be in India for a month starting Monday so if you don’t hear back from me right away, I will definitely be in touch.

    Blessings,

Hey! My name is Maria Betts. I just stumbled upon your blog. I’m going to be living in Thailand for 6 months starting in January-working with Thrive Rescue Home (www.thriverescuehome.org). Before I head there, I’m going to be spending a month in Cambodia (my friend Jessica will be traveling there with me). We are wanting to volunteer at a school and/or orphanage for the time that we are there. We both went to school for teaching, and have lots of experience working with children. Is your friend’s orphanage in need of any volunteers? I know there are so many there-but I want to be careful and choose wisely. Just felt like I should ask you, after reading your blog:)
Let me know if you have any advice! Thanks so much.
